I don't own it

So I get a phone call today that goes like this:

"I am trying to log into this vendor's website and it tells me that my account is locked or that log on restrictions may be in affect.  It says to call my account manager to have my account unlocked.  What should I do?"

I should have said:
"Let me pull out my magic internet fixing wand and take care of something I don't own and have zero control over because you chose to use an outside vendor instead of letting us purchase the software required to do the job."
